Because fairies are real

I believe in fairies you know. I am in my fifties and I believe in fairies because I cannot find a reason not to. Maybe one day I might be lucky enough to see one, maybe I never will, but I don't mind either way. Seeing is not as important as believing. I either read some-where, or saw it in a movie that every time some-one says they don't believe in fairies, somewhere, a fairy dies. If I was a little person, I think that would really bother me, probably even traumatise me.
I cannot begin to imagine what it would feel like to be responsible for the death of a fairy, or a whole colony.
What would my maker say???  What would my grand children think if they knew I pinged off fairies by not believing in them??

"HERE LIES NANNA - THE FAIRY TERMINATOR."

So, I have decided that I am going to believe in fairies hard enough so that when a non-believer crosses my path my belief will save a fairy. We are all supposed to be doing our little bit for the environment such as saving water, recycling, protecting the ozone layer and believing in fairies before they become extinct. Imagine a world without fairies. How sad would that be? There would be no more magical fairy worlds, no more pretty wings to play dress ups with, no more fairy dust and fairy wands. The tooth fairy would not exist either, so losing my teeth when I was little would have been worthless. Having my top teeth pulled out to have dentures fitted was made less painful knowing the tooth fairy would visit me - and she did. I got ten dollars for my teeth and she sprinkled fairy dust on my quilt because I was brave enough to go to the dentist.

A world without fairies is not a world I would choose to live in. And to top it off, I have been informed that the extinction of the species could possibly lead to an environmental disaster. I am a greenie at heart and the environment is important to me so I am adding fairies to my list of environment to do's.

I am thinking of making some fairy stuff to print out like wings and things.
